Finally Microsoft seems to (in part) listen to its customers again.

Still some things make no sense, especially from a productivity standpoint.
    For example;

    – multiple desktops (which used to be there, is on Mac and Ubuntu and should've been back looooooong before Win10) is great but showing all the open apps in your taskbar, rather than just those from the desktop you're in – makes no sense (esp. as default and if you can't change that in the settings).

    – switching your desktop views using Ctrl+Win+ L/R Arrow Key..are you serious?? That's useful productivity-wise?.. It should be keys that you can press with 1 hand so you can keep using the mouse with your other (like Alt+Tab).
    Idiotic who approved that.

what happens if you have a long beard and long hair and shave it all at once. Is that camera powerful enough to still recognize the user or will it be so secure that it will lock you out? Btw can't wait to put my hands on it !

I agree with Mr. Rowe.. Microsoft is doing some great things!

I am just not sure they are able to put ll the pieces of the puzzle together. I wanted to transition to windows phone with the lumia 640, but their maps and search were horrible.  Cant seem to talk to text and I cant seem to talk to my browser…. google is too far ahead.. Heading back to samsung android.   Hopefully winsodws 10 will change this?

Awesome visuals. But the sound sucks. Too much echo.
It does sort of capture the feeling of being there in the auditorium.

I can't wait for Windows 10. MS is due for another hit. It seems like every other upgrade hits the mark.

Great moves my Microsoft. If they can get there Apps Store and Media content up to speed then they can really give the competition a run for the money

OMG!!! Multiple desktop?!?! Really?!?!?! And I could even move one windows from one to another? O0O"
Is this the Windoes 10 preview or a new SyFy fiction?

Yeah, they are so focused on making Win10 'personal', that now you must provide your BIRTHDATE in order to install it.  Huh? Oh, and if you are dumb enough to elect 'Express Install', then you are automatically opted into sharing all you do on your local PC with MSFT servers.  I learned this by installing the preview 10130, which (before it went into an endless loop) required all that — but you can OPT OUT of all but the birthdate, using Custom Installation.

NOTHING WARNS OF THIS, NO ONE'S TALKING ABOUT IT BUT ME, AND FRANKLY THAT'S ALARMING.  Closest references are about 'keylogging', which isn't really the same thing.  That's a hidden subterfuge.  There's no subterfuge here.

But it is a lawsuit waiting to happen.  Say you did some confidential work with someone and their identity is hacked.  Say they find out you're on Win10, and sue you.  During the discovery process of the suit, it's learned that you were opted in to 'sharing'.  You're toast.

Updates will be forced, too.  Win Updates always break machines.  This is well known from 10 years prior, just Google.

So why will I want this?  I've pain enough from prior Windows, thank you.

Upgrade at initial release only after creating an image of your working version to reinstall if necessary. Many unanswered issues remain! Attempted to create a new comment and it failed:

Start watching at about 13 minutes you'll see him talking about Edge extensions. These still do not nor will they ever apparently, exist!

When he said: hey cortana, how tall is the sears tower?

My computer's cortana activated and searched for that exact thing. Pretty cool I gotta say

You forgot the feature that MS does not want you to know…….

It's not good for your privacy.  Read the EULA.

“Microsoft collects information about you, your devices, applications and networks, and your use of those devices, applications and networks. Examples of data we collect include your name, email address, preferences and interests; browsing, search and file history; phone call and SMS data; device configuration and sensor data; and application usage.”

they are asking way much personal data 1st hand
in contrast they better emphasise more making people know their security feats they have achieved to protect our data rather than ui features cuz windows users are not same as newbies mac
nor windows have the same reputation as mac
